We are currently seeking Diesel Service Journeyman/Mechanics who are passionate about delivering exceptional service, driving innovation, and pursuing personal growth. In this role, you will execute all duties of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair technician with minimal supervision. This role is responsible for:

  • Performs skilled and complicated mechanical work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related components with minimum supervision.
  • Correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records 
  • Performs troubleshooting on major problems.
  • Works with and helps train Apprentice Technicians.
  • Advises the Service Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
  • Maintains favorable relations with customers.
  • Participates in training to stay abreast of new technology.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements for this position include

  • Minimum 4 years experience or vocational graduate.
  • CDL preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required. Or can pass the test given by Diesel Solutions.
  • Must have, at a minimum, one specialization (i.e., engine, drive train, etc.).
  • Must be able to navigate Cummins quick serve online or at least one engine and truck manufacturer online wiring and parts look-up.
  • Must have own tools necessary to perform position duties
  • Must have good customer relations and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, safety consciousness, good instincts, and self-motivation
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance a variety of tasks

Compensation:

🗓️ Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8 hour day

Competitive Salary: Up to $40-$55 per hour based on experience with possible production bonuses.
